Bengaluru, Nov. 11 -- Former India fast bowler Venkatesh Prasad on Tuesday announced his decision to contest for the post of President of the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) in the upcoming elections scheduled for November 30.

Addressing a press conference organised by 'Team Game Changers' at The Capitol Hotel, Prasad said he would reveal the rest of his team soon. "I am contesting for the KSCA President's post. As for the rest of the team, I will announce the names a little later," he said.

Prasad said Karnataka cricket, especially in the last three years, has seen a sharp decline. "The last 12 years have been tough, but the last three years in particular have been disappointing. There is absolutely no focus on women's cricket...
