Pune, April 30 -- Senior politician, Vasant More, who quit the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena to join the Shiv Sena (Thackeray faction) in 2024, has been entrusted with a major responsibility by Uddhav Thackeray. More has been appointed the Pune City Chief of the party.
Expressing gratitude, More said that he is thankful to Uddhav Thackeray for placing trust in him and giving him this opportunity. He added that the party, under Thackeray's leadership, will function effectively as an opposition force.
More also revealed that Sanjay Raut had called him earlier in the day and urged him to strengthen the party.
