Chennai, Sept. 24 -- Tamil Maanila Congress (Moopanar) President and former union Shipping Minister G K Vasan, who had quit the AIADMK-led NDA after the Assembly poll outcome, on Thursday announced his party's support for the ruling Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam-led Secular Social Justice Victory Alliance in the October 6 bypoll to Madurantakam and Dharapuram seats.
In a statement here, Vasan said the people of Tamil Nadu had brought about a change in the recent Assembly election and claimed thatthe new TVK government was working towards transparent and corruption-free administration.
