Ch. Sambhajinagar, Sept. 12 -- The Maharashtra Water Resources Department released its daily dam water level and rainfall report on September 12, 2025, showing varied water storage conditions across major reservoirs in the Godavari basin region.
The comprehensive report covers water storage levels, rainfall measurements, and discharge details from key dams across the state.
The Maran dam recorded water level at 571.470 metres with storage at 202.44 million litres per hectare metre, showing 99.58 per cent capacity utilisation. The dam received 2.12 millimetres of rainfall on the reporting day, with cumulative rainfall since June 1 reaching 836.05 millimetres compared to 850 millimetres recorded in the previous year for the same period.
