Varanasi, April 11 -- Taking a significant step forward, GAIL (India) Limited, the nation's leading gas company, on Saturday signed an agreement to begin supplying piped natural gas (PNG) to the Annapurna Kitchen of the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust.
The agreement was signed in the august presence of Shambhu Sharan, Deputy District Magistrate of the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust, and GAIL General Managers Sushil Kumar (Varanasi), Suresh Tiwari, Gauri Shankar Mishra, and Devashish Sahu.
During the event, officials hailed this initiative as a commendable step towards environmental protection and energy efficiency.
