Ch. Sambhajinagar, March 11 -- Protesters planning to burn an effigy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during an agitation organised by the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi against the Central government's policies, were foiled by police on Wednesday amidst chants of "Modi hatao, Desh bachao."Police seized the effigy from protesters to prevent an escalation of the situation at Kranti Chowk in the town where the demonstration was held.
Some activists demanded clarification from the government over reports of the names of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and certain union Ministers appearing in the Epstein files.
