Washington, June 16 -- US Vice President JD Vance said he believes Israel will eventually support the emerging agreement between Washington and Tehran, as both sides prepare for a new round of negotiations following the formal signing of a memorandum of understanding later this week.
Speaking in a series of television interviews on Monday, Vance argued that the agreement would enhance regional security and ultimately benefit Israel.
"What we know is this agreement is going to make Israel safer; it's going to make the entire region safer," Vance told NBC News.
He said public debate around the agreement had been clouded by inaccurate reporting.
