Hyderabad, Aug. 16 -- Telangana BJP president N Ramchander Rao on Sunday paid rich tributes to former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna awardee Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his death anniversary, recalling his contribution to the nation and his exemplary political life.
Speaking at a programme held at the BJP state office, Ramchander Rao said Vajpayee had effectively led the country as Prime Minister for over six years and laid a strong foundation for development through key initiatives, including the expansion of national highways, major reforms in the telecom sector and improved access to LPG connections.
