Visakhapatnam, Dec. 22 -- India youngster Vaishnavi Sharma is keen to build on a promising international debut and establish herself as a regular in the national side's white-ball setup.

According to the International Cricket Council (ICC) website, the 20-year-old left-arm spinner made her international debut against Sri Lanka in the opening match of the series at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium on Sunday and played her part in India's comprehensive eight-wicket win.

Vaishnavi bowled four economical overs, conceding no boundaries against a strong Sri Lankan batting line-up.

Although she did not pick up a wicket, Vaishnavi showed impressive control and composure, never looking out of place on the big stage.
