Dehradun, March 21 -- Continuous rains across the state since Thursday night have brought down the temperature and resulted in massive snowfall in Gamgotri, Badrinath, Kedarnath, Chakrata and other high altitude areas of Uttarakhand on Friday.
According to the weather forecast, continuous pouring is likely to remain for the next 24 hours, while inclement weather conditions are likely to remain till March 26.
Uttarakhand's several high-altitude areas above 3000 meters have witnessed continuous snowfalls since Friday morning due to ongoing rains, leading to a sharp dip in the temperature.
