Prithviraj SinghDehradun, April 3 -- Uttarakhand has become the 16th state in the country to be bestowed with 'President's Police Colour' for distinguished policing in the state.
This award is the highest honor presented to a state police force for exceptional service, discipline and professionalism by the President of India after a rigorous evaluation process.
Uttarakhand Police have been conferred with country's most prestigious "President's Police Colour also termed "Nishaan" for the exemplary performance as per the set standards of the central government.
