Dehradun, June 23 -- The standoff over hostage of gurudwara in Uttarakhand continued for the third consecutive day today as four Nihangs refused to come down despite persistent efforts by the district administration to vacate the building.
Three of the seven Nihangs have come down from third floor of the building while remaining four have continued to remain there.
Nihang Sikhs who had illegally been occupying the third and fourth floors of the Nagrasu-based Damdama Sahib Gurdwara for the past three days have been adamant to vacate the premises despite repeated efforts by the police and district.
