Dehradun, April 23 -- Eleven people died in two separate accidents in Garhwal Himalayas since Wednesday night.
Eight deaths took place today afternoon when the vehicle in which deceased were travelling fell into a 300 metres gorge in Tehri Garhwal.
According to District Disaster Management Authority officials, accident took place near Nail on Chamba-Koti Colony Road as the driver apparently lost his control over the vehicle with 10 persons on board. Eight of them died at the accident site while two survivors were taken for medical treatment in District Hospital Tehri.
Injured persons were identified as Uttam, 30, and Ankit, 22, as they are undergoing medical aid.
