Ayodhya, Oct. 22 -- Ayodhya is preparing for its tenth Deepotsav, with work being stepped up along the Saryu riverfront for the event being organised under the guidance of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, as organisers aim to illuminate 56 ghats with 3 million lamps.
Following the cleaning of the ghats, marking work has begun. Preparations, from the decoration of lamps to the deployment of volunteers, are being planned. A groundbreaking ceremony will be held on Friday to mark the beginning of the festival of lights.
