Thiruvananthapuram, Feb. 10 -- Southern Railway has announced that the RailOne mobile application will be developed as the unified and official digital platform for all passenger ticketing and related services, while the existing UTS-on-Mobile (UTS) App will be decommissioned with effect from March 1, 2026.
The withdrawal of the UTS App is being implemented in a phased manner to ensure a smooth transition for passengers. As part of the initial phase, facilities for season ticket booking and renewal, along with new user registrations, were disabled on the UTS App.
In subsequent stages, booking of platform tickets and topping up of the R-Wallet were also discontinued, although the application continues to remain available on app stores.
