Budapest/Washington, April 7 -- Visiting Hungary ahead of its state elections, US Vice President JD Vance, in a meeting with Hungarian PM Viktor Orban said that Washington was indeed aware of attempts by certain elements of the Ukrainian intelligence to interfere in American and Hungarian elections.
Speaking at a conference in Budapest, Vance said: "We are certainly aware that there are elements within the Ukrainian intelligence services that tried to put their thumb on the scale of American elections, of Hungarian elections. This is just what they do.
