Washington, June 21 -- As the US and Iran are set to kick off negotiations in Switzerland for the implementation of their bilateral agreement to end the ongoing war today, US Vice President JD Vance claimed that the perilous situation in Lebanon between Israel and the Hezbollah had managed to see some progress.
Laying forth Washington's agenda for the meeting before boarding his flight to Europe, Vance told reporters that while he could "only be there for a day or two", he hoped to "make progress on the nuclear issue, make progress on the Lebanon ceasefire issue.
