Washington, June 18 -- US Vice President JD Vance today noted Israeli military operations in Lebanon have at times complicated efforts to secure a diplomatic breakthrough with Iran, saying that this has increasingly frustrated President Donald Trump.
Speaking at a White House briefing, he said progress in negotiations had occasionally been disrupted by developments in Lebanon, reports CNN.
"Sometimes we are on the verge of a major breakthrough and then there is a major explosion in a civilian area in Beirut, where many people who have nothing to do with Hezbollah lose their lives," Vance said.
