Washington, July 30 -- US Vice President JD Vance and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a private one-on-one meeting in Washington where they addressed their growing differences over the war with Iran and US policy towards Tehran, according to Israeli and US officials.
The meeting at Blair House on Tuesday came post months of tensions between the two leaders, with Vance emerging as one of the strongest advocates within the Trump administration for pursuing diplomacy with Iran and being increasingly critical of the Netanyahu government's approach to the war.
