Arti BaliNew Delhi, April 22 -- The United States imposed fresh sanctions on a network of individuals and entities accused of supporting Iran's unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and ballistic missile programmes, while also tightening restrictions on Iran-linked carrier Mahan Air.
The US Department of the Treasury said 14 individuals, entities, and aircraft across Iran, Turkiye, and the United Arab Emirates were designated for their role in procuring or transporting weapons and components for the Iranian regime. The action also identifies two Boeing 777 aircraft operated by Mahan Air as blocked property.
