Washington, May 1 -- US President Donald Trump has signalled his intention to not comply with the 60-day deadline set out in the country's War Powers Resolution, arguing that past presidents have routinely ignored the requirement to seek congressional approval for military action, and called it "unconstitutional."Speaking to reporters as he left the White House for Florida, Trump dismissed the law's authority as being more ceremonial than anything else, claiming that it's never been put to use.
