Bengaluru, May 12 -- Tensions over Iran's nuclear programme continue to fuel uncertainty over whether the region is heading toward direct military escalation or entering a prolonged phase of strategic pressure without full-scale war, according to Defence Expert Gurcharanjit Singh.
Iran is unlikely to return its enriched uranium, arguing that the material is tied to the country's sovereignty and national security concerns, Singh told UNI in an interview.
