New Delhi/Dubai, Feb. 28 -- Two-time Olympic medallist shuttler PV Sindhu has been left stranded at Dubai airport after flight operations were suspended in the wake of missile strikes by the United States and Israel on Iran.
Sindhu was travelling to Birmingham for the prestigious All England Open, which is scheduled to begin Tuesday, with Dubai serving as her transit halt.
However, the escalating conflict in the region forced one of the world's busiest aviation hubs to shut down operations temporarily, bringing departures and arrivals to a standstill.
