Srinagar, Aug. 21 -- US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor on Friday wrapped up his visit to the union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, without holding the much-speculated meeting with Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama.
"Ambassador Sergio Gor wrapped up a visit to Srinagar and Leh this week, highlighting the growing U.S.-India partnership through meaningful dialogue and cultural engagement. In Srinagar, Ambassador Gor met Chief Minister @OmarAbdullah to discuss strengthening bilateral ties and later visited Leh to experience Ladakh's culture and traditions," Official account of U.S. Embassy in India wrote on X.
