Imphal, Sept. 11 -- US ambassador to India Sergio Gor called on Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh here on Friday.
During the meeting, Sergio Gor said that Manipur is a beautiful place. He said he is very happy that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is focusing on the development of North East India, which is good for a diverse country like India.
The Ambassador enquired about the number of tourists visiting Manipur. He said that there is a special bond between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump, beyond the normal PM-President relationship. He said that President Trump personally cherished this relationship.
