Baghdad/Washington, March 17 -- The US Embassy in Baghdad was targeted once again early Tuesday in a wave of drone attacks across Iraq, raising fresh security concerns in the region.
According to CNN, air defence systems intercepted a projectile from the embassy compound, preventing potential damage.
Multiple locations in Iraq, including the US Embassy in Baghdad, a hotel, and a southern oil field, were targeted in a series of drone attacks, according to media reports.
Iraq's military confirmed that the Majnoon oil field in the south was also attacked.
