Panchkula, Sept. 10 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday produced Harnek Singh, an accused who had allegedly been absconding from investigation and trial proceedings since 2013, before the Special CBI Court in Panchkula after he was deported from the United States.
The accused was produced before the court of Special CBI Judge Anil Kumar Yadav.
The court remanded Harnek Singh to judicial custody, with the next hearing in the case scheduled for September 23, 2026.
Harnek Singh had been on the run for several years, and an Interpol Red Notice as well as a Look-Out Circular (LOC) had reportedly been issued against him.
