Palau, Sept. 2 -- The United States is significantly expanding its strategic engagement with Pacific Island nations as it announced more than USD 150 million in new initiatives spanning energy security, ports, digital infrastructure, maritime enforcement, critical minerals and private-sector investment as Washington seeks to reinforce its position in the increasingly contested Indo-Pacific.
