New Delhi, Jan. 8 -- As the Winter Session of the Delhi Assembly began on Thursday, BJP legislators raised slogans against the opposition AAP over alleged objectionable remarks made by Leader of Opposition Atishi on a Sikh Guru.
The BJP MLAs shouted slogans of "Hindustan will not tolerate insult to Gurus". AAP legislators were also seen raising slogans during the uproar inside the House.
Both BJP and AAP MLAs waved posters inside the Assembly. In view of the continued disruption, Speaker Vijender Gupta adjourned the proceedings for 30 minutes.
