Lucknow, Sept. 2 -- The Uttar Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission (UPSRLM) will train over 13 thousand women as Micro-Enterprise Sakhis to boost entrepreneurship, an official release said today.
Under the UPSRLM's new programme to develop Micro-Enterprise Sakhis, a cadre of trained women entrepreneurs who will lead rural economic transformation, 13,064 women will be imparted training. Each Sakhi will go on to support at least 50 other women in starting their own micro-enterprises, creating a ripple effect of entrepreneurship across the state.
