Saharanpur, July 26 -- Uttar Pradesh government will export 30 metric tonnes of Chausa and Langda mangoes from Saharanpur. This export will be done under a joint agreement between the Department of Agricultural Marketing, the Department of Foreign Trade and Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA).
An MoU programme was organized between mango producers and exporters at the new market site here on Sunday. The objective of the programme was to provide a better market for farmers and promote mango exports.
During the programme, MoUs were signed between Ladwa Farmers Producer Company Limited, Saharanpur, and BMS Organic FPO, Lucknow, for 30 metric tonnes of Chausa and Langda mangoes.
