Lucknow, June 24 -- As Uttar Pradesh continues to position itself as one of India's fastest-growing economic hubs, the state government will mark June 29, the birth anniversary of legendary merchant-philanthropist Bhamashah, as 'Vyapari Kalyan Diwas' across all districts and tehsils, celebrating the contribution of traders, entrepreneurs and small businesses to the state's development journey.
The statewide observance, being organised as per directives from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, seeks to link economic growth with social responsibility by highlighting the values of enterprise, philanthropy and public service that Bhamashah came to symbolise in Indian history.
