Lucknow, Sept. 5 -- Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today gave a big gift to the state's nine lakh teachers, on the occasion of Teachers' Day.
Addressing the state-level teacher felicitation ceremony here, the Chief Minister announced that all UP teachers will now be able to avail a cashless medical treatment facility.
"This facility will not only be for the teachers of primary, upper primary, secondary, aided schools and colleges, but will also cover Shikshamitras, instructors and cooks," he announced.
Making the historic announcement, the Chief Minister said that about nine lakh teacher families will be directly benefited by the decision.
