Lucknow/Leh, May 3 -- Leh emerged as a major centre of global Buddhist dialogue on Sunday as monks, scholars and spiritual leaders from India and abroad gathered for the 2569th Vaishakh Buddha Purnima celebrations at the Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre (MIMC).

Uttar Pradesh Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh participated in the International Himalayan Buddhist Conference, where discussions focused on the role of Himalayan Buddhism in shaping spiritual and cultural heritage across the world.
