Lucknow, Aug. 3 -- Although the monsoon gained momentum in Uttar Pradesh during July, the state continues to face a rainfall deficit for the season. According to the Meteorological Department on Monday, Uttar Pradesh received only 73 per cent of its normal rainfall between June 1 and July 31.
