Lucknow, Aug. 27 -- Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today said Uttar Pradesh was never a sick state, but was pushed into an identity crisis by "dishonest political parties" through corruption, and alliance politics.

"Before 2017, appointments were shared, qualified candidates were victims of discrimination and corruption. This prosperous state faced an identity crisis due to riots and family politics, which turned it into a den of loot," he alleged.

The CM was addressing a programme here where appointment letters were distributed to 2,425 main sevikas and 13 pharmacists selected by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission.
