Lucknow, June 3 -- The power supply system in Uttar Pradesh continues to remain strong and efficient with the government's commitment to providing uninterrupted and adequate electricity to the people of the state during the intense summer season is now being recognised at the national level as well.
In terms of demand-based power supply, Uttar Pradesh has surpassed several states including Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, and is continuously supplying electricity in accordance with demand.
Despite rising power demand in the state, Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) is currently ensuring adequate electricity supply to consumers.
