Lucknow, July 17 -- Uttar Pradesh continuously working effectively towards achieving the goal of a TB-Free India , in the first six months of 2026, the state has identified and initiated treatment for over 3.37 lakh TB patients, achieving 48 percent of the annual target.
The target for 2026 is to identify seven lakh TB patients in the state. A total of over 3.37 lakh patients were notified between January and June. Of these, 224,665 patients were identified through government health institutions and 112,303 through private practitioners.
