Prayagraj, Jan. 24 -- The Uttar Pradesh State Human Rights Commission has taken cognizance of the allegations made in the complaint, filed by Dr. Gajendra Singh Yadav, regarding the alleged misbehaviour with the disciples of Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati on the day of Mauni Amavasya at the Magh Mela in Prayagraj.
The Commission has disposed of the complaint with instructions.
The State Human Rights Commission today stated that considering the nature of the allegations made in the complaint, it would be appropriate to send a copy of the complaint to the Police Commissioner, Prayagraj, who will look into the matter.
