Lucknow, Aug. 14 -- How effective should teacher training be so that its real benefits reach teacher preparation and children's learning?With this question at the centre, the Uttar Pradesh government has given a new direction to the training system through 'Unnati' by linking teacher capacity development with technology-based monitoring and academic quality.
Training is being monitored online through "Unnati" to ensure continuous monitoring of the quality of training and to ensure that the pedagogical understanding and effective teaching methods gained during training do not weaken as they progress to the next level.
