Lucknow, July 6 -- The Uttar Pradesh government will create new history again on July 12 when over 35 crore saplings will be planted across the state in a single day with public participation.
The Nodal (Forest, Environment and Climate Change Department) has begun preparations for this under the Tree Plantation campaign 2026.
To ensure the success of the campaign, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will communicate with public representatives from today onwards and will also hold regular meetings with officials to provide necessary guidance.
The Forest Minister will also meet with ministers from other departments to discuss its success.
