Lucknow, Sept. 7 -- The Uttar Pradesh government will organise the 'Come, Listen and Tell Stories' activity on International Literacy Day, September 8, at all co-located Anganwadi centres and kindergartens, as well as in the District Education and Training Institutes across the state.
Its objective is to develop children's listening, understanding, expression, imagination and creative thinking through storytelling.
In line with the directives of the Director General of School Education, Monica Rani, the programme emphasises organising activities at the kindergarten level as well as at the DIET level and incorporating local innovations.
