Lucknow, March 6 -- The Uttar Pradesh government has dismissed Sheshnath Pandey, Joint Director of the Minority Welfare Department, from service after allegations of serious financial and administrative irregularities were proven.
He has also been disqualified from any future government service.
According to the order issued on Friday, this action was taken after examining the investigating officer''s report, documentary evidence, the concerned officer''s response, and the Public Service Commission''s consent. Fourteen of the 15 charges leveled against Pandey were found to be proven.
