Ayodhya/Lucknow, July 26 -- The Uttar Pradesh government has reconstituted the Special Investigation Team (SIT) in connection with the Ayodhya Ram Temple offering theft case.
The action was done in view of the Supreme Court's direction.
According to officials here on Sunday, now the SIT will be headed by Lucknow Range Inspector General Kiran S. And other two members are Ayodhya Range DIG Somen Burma and Ayodhya SSP Dr. Gaurav Grover.
Previously, the SIT was headed by IAS officer Vijay Vishwas Pant. Kiran S. was part of his team, but Vishwas Pant was the team's in-charge.
