Lucknow, Sept. 2 -- The Uttar Pradesh government has taken a major step to strengthen the infrastructure of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas, providing a strong foundation for girls' education.
The release of Rs 101.49 crore in the financial year 2026-27 has paved the way for expanding these schools' housing capacity, sanitation, and security facilities. These schools will be developed into safer, cleaner, and more well-equipped residential educational centers through six major construction projects, ranging from additional dormitories to the reconstruction of dilapidated buildings, toilet blocks, guard rooms, septic tanks, and boundary walls.
