Lucknow, Sept. 16 -- In a major sop before the assembly elections, Uttar Pradesh Panchayati Raj Minister and President of Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party ( SBSP) Om Prakash Rajbhar has announced that the honorarium of Panchayat secretaries will be increased from Rs 6,000 to Rs 9,000.
This money will now be directly deposited into the accounts of Panchayat assistants.
Rajbhar was addressing the media here on Wednesday. He said that he had discussed this with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath this morning and got the approval.
