Lucknow, Aug. 24 -- In a significant step towards promoting industrial investment in Uttar Pradesh and creating large-scale employment opportunities, the state Chief Secretary has approved a proposal to issue Letters of Comfort (LOCs) to eight industrial projects with a combined investment of Rs 4,104.82 crore.
The projects were recommended by the Evaluation Committee for Letters of Comfort through the Online Incentive Management System (OIMS) portal.
A meeting of the High-Level Empowered Committee (HLEC) was held here on Monday under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary SP Goyal, in accordance with the Uttar Pradesh Industrial Investment and Employment Promotion Policy, 2022.
