Lucknow, Aug. 5 -- Uttar Pradesh has made significant progress in implementing the Farmer Registry campaign, securing the 10th position nationally as the state moves swiftly to register farmers for transparent and timely delivery of government scheme benefits.
Officials said the state has achieved 85.19 per cent of the target set by the Centre and is now aiming to break into the top nine.Officials said the state is close to moving up to the ninth position in the national rankings, with the registration drive being accelerated to achieve full coverage at the earliest.
