Lucknow, Aug. 14 -- On the eve of Independence Day, P D Hinduja Hospital & Medical Research Centre and the State Transformation Commission, Government of Uttar Pradesh (STC-UP), joined hands to strengthen maternal and adolescent healthcare across 35 districts of Uttar Pradesh.

The programme on Friday was launched by UP Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, who is also the Minister for Medical Health & Family Welfare.

The event was held at the Ram Prakash Gupta Maternity & Child State Referral Hospital in Lucknow, where Mr Pathak flagged off a fully equipped Hinduja Mobile Health Unit.
