Lucknow, Aug. 4 -- Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched a scathing attack on the opposition in the Assembly over the Ram Lalla Temple donations issue, saying that the Samajwadi Party (SP) and Congress are distorting facts.
He said the opposition's conduct is undemocratic and unconstitutional, and it is also an insult to the sentiments of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar.
The Chief Minister said that what the opposition is calling "donation theft" is actually a case related to donations to the Ram Lalla Temple. He informed that the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust had written a letter to the Uttar Pradesh government on June 12 requesting an SIT investigation based on media reports.
